The right (or not) to commit suicide is a major issue in both society and the clinical field. Public support for this right is strongest in connection with great pain and terminal illness. In this video, two terminally ill adults and their family members discuss the deaths that they are facing. One individual, an elderly man dying of cancer, says that he would prefer to be euthanized and explains that he does not fear death, while his daughter describes the strain of dealing with his situation. Another individual, a single mother in her forties dying of cancer, describes her fears for her children. The children also describe how devastated they are by their mother's illness.
