PRACTICE
Want to experiment? Draft your own cover letter and resume.
Go to your campus internship center or visit their Web site. Find an internship that you might be interested in (now or in the future). Create and/or revise your resume using the advice in this chapter. Draft a cover letter that expresses your interest in the internship and elaborates on your qualifications. Remember to close with a request for an interview. Also make sure that your cover letter expands on details in your resume that show how you are a perfect fit for the internship.
