Plan out your argument and gather supporting evidence, then put together an Ignite-style talk that:

As you plan your presentation, review the annotations provided in the Guided Reading of Sunni Brown’s talk and keep the following in mind.

Think about your rhetorical situation—your purpose, audience, and how you will use rhetorical appeals and media. For example, will you be most persuasive if you are also funny?
Think about the genre’s conventions—the elements of a presentation such as a strong introduction and conclusion, interesting visuals, and clear transitions, as well as appropriate style, design, and use of sources. For a 5 minute talk, you’ll want to streamline your major points, perhaps sticking to only three or so, and being sure to support each one.
