Which medical professional had the biggest impact on your recovery?

Christina: I would like to think that there were a tremendous amount of doctors who took me under their wing when I was diagnosed with Rasmussen's encephalitis. My neurologist at Johns Hopkins was phenomenal. My surgeon, Doctor Ben Carson, was the one who performed my surgery, and he will forever be my hero.

In my perspective, he gave me my second chance at life, and his gifted hands have made me the person that I am today. So overall I'm very appreciative of all my doctors, but Doctor Carson does have a soft spot in my heart.
