Did you fully recover language and cognition after the surgery?

Jill Bolte Taylor: I have fully recovered cognition and language. Any speech pathologist will not be able to detect any type of lingering in my speech. No aphasia whatsoever.

And I'm probably brighter now, actually, than I was before the stroke, because it was my goal to return to be at the level of a 37-year-old. And it took eight years for me to recover. So by the time I was eight years older, I would have been more impaired, just from natural deterioration. But yes, I've recovered 100%, everything.
