Start by thinking about what you’re interested in. Topics and causes for your organization could range from social action to music to sports. If there’s a topic you like to talk about or related activities you like to do, there probably are other people around you who’d also be interested. Start developing PACT notes with yourself as the audience.
Look at organizations that already exist on campus and see whether you can identify gaps that you or other students might be interested in filling.
Do research on the Facebook pages of organizations similar to the one you want to start (either in topic or in audience). Look at how they construct their own Facebook presence.
Do additional online research on creating Facebook timelines for organizations. Search phrases like “creating a Facebook timeline.”
