Questions to Keep in Mind

  1. How will you frame the information from the background texts you have? What texts (and portions of texts) seem most useful? How will you order them?
  2. As you work on the project, think carefully about what aspects of the context you want this document to change. Consider your professor’s perspective: What information is likely to recruit her assistance?
  3. What evidence will you need to provide her to show the problem and its possible resolution?
  4. What can you do to avoid making this a complicated “he said/she said” situation (which may end up merely muddying the waters and making you look bad)?
  5. What are the pros and cons of providing supporting documents? Is there a danger you’ll bury your teacher in information?
