Questions to Keep in Mind
In creating your spoof ad, consider the following questions:
What audience are you attempting to communicate with?
What situations do they find amusing? Why?
What genre or type of text should you create?
Do you risk unintentionally offending some parts of your audience? Are you being sexist or racist?
Are you trying to make a productive change in your audience (getting them to reconsider something), or are you simply mocking?
