Jacob: Fine. How are you doing? Destroy any new lives recently?

Female Student: I don't think this is the right time or place to be talking about that. If you want, I'll hang around after class and maybe we can talk then?

Jacob: I can't believe it. Out of everyone, I get paired up with you.

Female Student: I know you're really angry with me and I admire you for that. Because it shows that you're a loyal friend. But we have to work together. Can't we put the past behind us? For the sake of this project?

Jacob: Yeah. I can see why you would want to put the past behind. Because that's what you do, isn't it? You destroy people, bail, and then say, can't we just put the past behind us?
