Kate: OK, this is my first slide. How does it look?

Female Coworker: Yeah, it's fine. So I'll time you, OK? Your section of the presentation should be about five minutes, right?

Male Coworker: More or less.

Female Coworker: OK, Kate. Ready when you are.

Kate: Eating fast foods presents three problems in your diet. First, most fast foods have an excessive amount of salt. Even when you think you're making a healthy choice, you might not. Eating fast foods presents-- have you ever looked at a fast food menu and thought, should I go for the deluxe burger and fries and a shake, or like maybe I should go for something healthy, like chicken? You might think the chicken is a healthy choice, right? Even better if it's grilled instead of fried, right? OK. There's a medical writer, Daniel DeNoon, who says that nine out of 10 Americans consume too much salt daily. Salt is found in everything, from soft drinks to baked goods, so we should really be kind of concerned about eating too much salt. Because it's pretty much a really big factor in hypertension or high blood pressure.

Female Coworker: Hold it a sec.

Kate: Too fast, maybe?

Male Coworker: Well. It was a little rough. I think maybe I made you nervous about the timing.

Kate: Really? I thought it was going well. OK. Let me try it again.
