Daniel Richter

Daniel Richter (b. 1962) is director of the McNeil Center for Early American Studies at the University of Pennsylvania. The following selection is from his 2002 book, Facing East from Indian Country: A Native History of Early America, which was a finalist for the 2002 Pulitzer Prize for History.
