How Well Do You Interact in a Group Setting?

To test how apprehensive you might be in a group setting, complete the following six items, which are based on the Personal Report of Communication Apprehension (PRCA-24). Use the following scale: 1 = strongly agree; 2 = agree; 3 = undecided; 4 = disagree; and 5 = strongly disagree.

1. I do not like to participate in group discussions.

2. Generally, I feel comfortable participating in group discussions.

3. I am tense and nervous while participating in group discussions.

4. I like to get involved in group discussions.

5. I get tense and nervous when I engage in a group discussion with new people.

6. I am calm and relaxed while participating in group discussions.
