You might not be happy with every revision you make. To avoid wishing that you hadn’t made extensive revisions to a draft of your document, save a new copy of your draft before every major revising session. You can add a number to your drafts’ file names, such as Draft1.doc, Draft2.doc, and so on; add the date, such as Draft-April6.doc and Draft-April10.doc; or use some other naming system that works for you. What’s important is that you save multiple versions of your drafts in case you don’t like the changes you’ve made.
