You can apply the general evaluative criteria discussed above to most types of sources. However, digital sources can pose special challenges. Because anyone can create a Web site, start a blog, put a video on YouTube, or post a message to a newsgroup, e-mail list, or Web discussion forum, approach these sources with more caution than you would reserve for print sources such as books and journal articles, which are typically published only after a lengthy editorial review process.
