Enrollment of 3-, 4-, and 5-year-olds in Pre-primary Programs
A spreadsheet with data and its corresponding line graph that shows the
results of data collected on how early childhood-education enrollment significantly
increased from 1965 to 2012. The percentage of enrollment of 3, 4, and 5-year olds along
with the total enrollments is defined on the Y axis. The X axis defines the time period from
1965 to 2012.

1 Beginning in 1994, preprimary enrollment data were collected using new
procedures. Data may not be comparable to figures for earlier
years.
2 Beginning in 2010, standard errors were computed using replicate weights,
which produced more precise values than the methodology used
in prior years.
