In an update to its 2011 report noted in Exercise 13, in 2014 the Energy Information Administration estimated the United States had 1932 Tcf of “technically recoverable dry natural gas resources,” consumption in 2012 was 25.6 Tcf, and growth in consumption was projected to be 0.8% per year from 2012 to 2040.
