WHERE TO GO FOR HELP …

ON CAMPUS

174

Your campus probably has a study skills center or learning assistance center that can help you develop effective memory strategies. Pay a visit to your campus learning center and ask if the staff members offer any specific workshops or one-on-one assistance with memory. Ask other students and faculty members if they have tips that they could share on how they remember course material. Ask your instructor if there is an instructor or staff member on your campus who is an expert on memory strategies. In addition, your college library will have many books on the topic of memory. Some were written by researchers for the research community, but others were written for people like you who are trying to improve their memory. Download or check out a book on memory to see what you can learn.
