Don’t Leave Prep to the Last Minute. Don’t wait until the last second to prepare to take notes. Instead, take time to get organized and gather any materials you’ll need ahead of time. Will you be taking notes at a lecture? If so, arrive a few minutes early, get focused, and review your notes from the previous class.
