The relationship between income and education for entrepreneurs. Numerous studies have shown that better-educated employees have higher incomes. Is this also true for entrepreneurs? Do more years of formal education translate into higher incomes? One study explored this question using the National Longitudinal Survey of Youth (NLSY), which followed a large group of individuals aged 14 to 22 for roughly 10 years.2 The researchers looked at both employees and entrepreneurs, but we just focus on entrepreneurs here. We consider a random sample of 100 entrepreneurs.
