However, there were some populous countries whose Internet users still preferred other social networks. Between 2009 and 2011, Facebook use continued to diffuse, coming to dominate social networking in several countries that had previously been loyal to other social networking sites (including India, Mexico, Poland, Libya, and Portugal).
