Adjusting for ChangesChanges in prices, taxes, or related policies can change the payoffs of a game. If the change only affects one strategy, as with a $4,000 decrease in the cost of renting a billboard, be careful to adjust only the payoffs for that strategy. The changes in this figure relative to Figure 65.5 are shown in green. The lower cost makes renting a billboard a weakly dominant strategy for Ally, meaning that the payoffs from that strategy are at least as good, and in some cases better, than the payoffs from the alternative strategy. The lower rental cost also creates an additional Nash equilibrium of both players renting a billboard.
