Thinking critically about quotation marks
Choose a topic that is of interest on your campus, and interview one of your friends about it. On the basis of your notes from the interview, write two or three paragraphs about your friend’s views, using several direct quotations that support the points you are making. Then see how closely you followed the conventions for quotation marks explained in your handbook. Note any usages that caused you problems.
