Etruscan Figure of a Mother and Son This bronze Etruscan sculpture from the sixth to fourth century B.C.E. shows a mother and child. The influence of Hellenistic Greek art is evident in the musculature of the little boy and the drape of the woman’s clothing. The holders at the sides may have held candles.
