Now that you’ve had a chance to explore the evidence, write a short essay (four to five paragraphs) on the following topic:

Create your own fourteenth-century “traveler’s tale.” You are free to make up the details of your story, but it should be as realistic as possible. Be sure to let your reader know who your traveler is, where they are going, why they are traveling, and what challenges they meet along the way.
