Advertising Age magazine argues that augmented reality will be a “new trillion-dollar industry” within the next ten years, and that it “mandates brands be omnipresent.”Reference 1. Our lives and world will be flush with augmented reality in our smartphones, eyeglasses, augmented-reality headsets (and devices we have yet to imagine). Our augmented vision will change our reality and offer unprecedented opportunities for advertisements in the form of product placements, sales offers, digital games, and ways to virtually “try out” products to be part of our everyday lives—if we agree to it.

What kind of devices (smartphones, tablets, eyeglasses/sunglasses, or headsets) would you be willing to wear to experience augmented reality in public?
2. Where could augmented reality go wrong? What limits would you like there to be? Of what kind? How much advertising-related augmented reality there should be?
