Synopsis

Off-shore wind farms are erected in the middle of the ocean, where the winds are high and can generate more electricity. Building these structures in heavy winds has proven to be very difficult, however. When completed, one off-shore wind farm off the coast of Great Britain will be able to power over half a million homes.
