Introduction

Regular physical activity has many health benefits, yet the majority of Americans do not get the amount recommended by health experts. In this activity, you will compare your exercise patterns with the current recommendations.

This activity can be completed using the Analyze My Diet tool linked from your LaunchPad course or any dietary analysis software that provides the daily average amount of vitamins consumed.

To complete the activity using Analyze My Diet:

  • If you have not already completed the Analyze My Diet Tutorial and tracked at least one day’s nutrition and activity, do so first.
  • Within Analyze My Diet, go to the Reports tab.
  • Select “Activity Summary” on the left.
  • Select the day(s) that are a good representation of your typical diet.
  • Click “Show Report” to download your nutrition report.
  • Within the report, you will see the profile Calories goal, daily activity durations, calories burned for each exercise, and total Calories burned per day.

For more instructions and help using the Analyze My Diet Tool, please visit the help page.
