      Question 1

Which theorist proposed that intelligence is a singular entity, which he called “g”?

      Question 2

Gordon is a chef who was planning for a delivery of some fresh beef. Unfortunately the supply company made an error, and instead they delivered fresh pork. Gordon has to quickly change his recipe and make an amazing dish for some VIPs using only pork. The fact that he was able to adjust to this problem and create a delicious meal demonstrated what Cattell would call blank intelligence.

      Question 3

Stuart knows that he has a temper, but is also aware when he is starting to get angry in a situation. He’s developed the ability to remove himself from circumstances when he feels himself getting upset so that he doesn’t lash out and start yelling at people. Stuart’s self-control demonstrates blank intelligence.

      Question 4

Your Take! What do you think is the difference between being intelligent and being smart?
