Case 14.2 (pages 733 and 734) considers the evaluation of a new educational product designed to improve children’s reading comprehension. Three methods (Basal, SRTA, and Strat) are evaluated on three groups of 22 children. Your company markets educational materials aimed at parents of young children. The response variable is a measure of reading comprehension called COMP that was obtained by a test taken after the instruction was completed.
