-Two more exams. I can't believe college is over.

-Over for you, maybe.

-Med school for you, John. And New York for you, Mattie.

-Say, did your mom finally come around to the idea?

-She's hoping I'll change my mind. But I have to see if I can make a go of a professional dance career in New York. I mean, she wants me to achieve this life long dream. But she's just sad that I have to go so far from home.

-That's exactly how my parents feel about me teaching in Malaysia. You know, they're happy that I'm the first person in my family to get a degree. But I guess they were hoping I'd find a job closer to home. But, you know, I just can't deny myself this overseas opportunity.

-My parents keep pressuring me to let them introduce me to an eligible young man. They're so hung up on me getting married. I just wish they would give me a few months to think about what I want to accomplish.

-Yeah. That's a lot of pressure.

-Oh, I know. You could tell them that you've already met the man of your dreams and that you won't need them to intervene. Will you marry me, Louise?

-A doctor. Mom will be so happy.

-This is wonderful, someone to put me through med school

-Wait. Aren't your parents helping with your tuition?

-Dad's saying he's not sure if his job is secure right now. I'm looking into financial aid. I may just end up with more debt than expected.

-Oh. Now I feel bad.

-Bad enough to--

-Nope. He's on his own there.

-Burn.
