Woman: OK. I know I should have told you about this sooner, but I wasn't sure if you could keep this secret. So I'm playing this game on Tad, and I need your help. All right. Here's the deal.
You know how Trevor broke up with me because he said he likes me more as a friend then as a girlfriend? Story of my life, right? Well, my roommates were totally teasing me about all this. And then one night, Monica came up with this crazy idea. She dared me to prove that I'm not always in the friend zone. But how do you prove that, right? Easy. You just make one of your guy friends fall for you.
Eva actually bet me that I couldn't do this. It was ridiculous. We stayed up all night trying to argue about which one of my guy friends would be the best target. We chose Tad because he's always so clueless about women liking him. I guess they wanted to make it hard on me.
So here are the rules. I have to get Tad to like me before finals week. But I can't just come out and tell him that I like him. I have to show him. And I also need some sort of proof that he likes me like a text message or something. And here's where I'm hoping that you can help me out by keeping me informed. Has he said anything to you about me?
Oh, and the best part is, if I win, I get to borrow Monica's Jimmy Choo boots whenever I want. But if I lose, I have to let Monica and Eva drive my Audi. And if that happens, my dad will kill me.
I know this is kind of mean. But listen, Tad doesn't need to know about it. If he does start to like me, then we can just go out for a few weeks, and then I'll break up with him. No harm done, right? And it might even help him get over Jessica. Just don't tell him about this, OK? If he finds out, it'll ruin the whole thing. And I'll lose the bet.
