We'll do another happy little painting. La- da- da- da- dah. Just be happy. Now we'll take the almighty fan brush. If we're going to have animals around we all have to be concerned about them and take care of them. I'm going to mix up a little color. We’ll use Van Dyke Brown, Permanent Red, and a little bit of Prussian Blue. These things happen automatically. All you have to do is just let them happen.

That's what painting is all about. It should make you feel good when you paint. Paint anything you want on the canvas. Create your own world. Use absolutely no pressure. Just like an angel's wing. I'll go over the colors one more time that we use: Titanium white, Thalo green, Prussian blue, Van Dyke brown, Alizarin crimson, Sap green, Cad yellow, and Permanent red. See there, told you that would be easy. This is the time to get out all your flustrations, much better than kicking the dog around the house or taking it out on your spouse. Very easy to work these to death. This is your world. Nature is so fantastic, enjoy it. Let it make you happy. And right there you got an almighty cloud.

Be so very light. Be a gentle whisper. Learn when to stop. Don't be afraid to make these big decisions. Once you start, they sort of just make themselves. I really recommend you use odorless thinner or your spouse is gonna run you right out into the yard and you'll be working by yourself. There we go.

What the devil. Making all those little fluffies that live in the clouds. You can do anything here - the only pre-requisite is that it makes you happy. In your world you can create anything you desire. It's beautiful - and we haven't even done anything to it yet. We tell people sometimes: we're like drug dealers, come into town and get everybody absolutely addicted to painting. It doesn't take much to get you addicted. Steve wants reflections, so let's give him reflections. Use your imagination, let it go. The first step to doing anything is to believe you can do it. See it finished in your mind before you ever start. Just think about these things in your mind and drop em' on canvas.

Of course he's a happy little stone, cause we don't have any other kind. Even the worst thing we can do here is good. We'll take a little bit of Van Dyke Brown. We'll have a super time. You can create the world you want to see and be a part of. You have that power. Just a happy little shadow that lives in there. If you didn't have baby clouds, you wouldn't have big clouds. Water's like me. It's laaazy ... Boy, it always looks for the easiest way to do things

You have to make those little noises or it won't work. That's the way I look when I get home late; black and blue. Only eight colors that you need. Be brave. Every single thing in the world has its own personality - and it is up to you to make friends with the little rascals. Maybe there's a little something happening right here. Let's make some happy little clouds in our world.

They say everything looks better with odd numbers of things. But sometimes I put even numbers—just to upset the critics. We wash our brush with odorless thinner. There is immense joy in just watching - watching all the little creatures in nature. Nothing's gonna make your husband or wife madder than coming home and having a snow-covered dinner. I'm a water fanatic. I love water. We'll play with clouds today. No worries. No cares. Just float and wait for the wind to blow you around. We can always carry this a step further. There's really no end to this.

Let your imagination be your guide. This piece of canvas is your world. I want everbody to be happy. That's what it's all about.

No pressure. Just relax and watch it happen. For the lack of a better word I call them hangy downs. Look around, look at what we have. Beauty is everywhere, you only have to look to see it. If it's not what you want - stop and change it. Don't just keep going and expect it will get better. See there how easy that is. Take your time. Speed will come later. The man who does the best job is the one who is happy at his job.

Just let this happen. We just let this flow right out of our minds. Let's put some happy little bushes on the other side now. I can't think of anything more rewarding than being able to express yourself to others through painting. A tree cannot be straight if it has a crooked trunk. Just make little strokes like that. Everybody's different. Trees are different. Let them all be individuals. You want your tree to have some character. Make it special. If you don't think every day is a good day - try missing a few. You'll see.

Let's have a little bit of fun today. Do an almighty painting with us. This is your world, whatever makes you happy you can put in it. Go crazy. The least little bit can do so much. God gave you this gift of imagination. Use it. This is probably the greatest thing to happen in my life - to be able to share this with you. Even trees need a friend. We all need friends.

Sometimes you learn more from your mistakes than you do from your masterpieces. In your imagination you can go anywhere you want. Any little thing can be your friend if you let it be. You can create beautiful things - but you have to see them in your mind first. Painting should do one thing. It should put happiness in your heart. We have all at one time or another mixed some mud. Mix your color marbly don't mix it dead. I will take some magic white, and a little bit of Vandyke brown and a little touch of yellow.

Automatically, all of these beautiful, beautiful things will happen. If these lines aren't straight, your water's going to run right out of your painting and get your floor wet. Let all these things just sort of happen. A little happy sunlight shining through there. Nice little fluffy clouds laying around in the sky being lazy. Decide where your cloud lives. Maybe he lives right in here. A fan brush is a fantastic piece of equipment. Use it. Make friends with it. Let your heart be your guide. We start with a vision in our heart, and we put it on canvas.

It's a good way of getting rid of all your anxieties and hostilities. That's a crooked tree. We'll send him to Washington. We'll put all the little clouds in and let them dance around and have fun.

I thought today we would do a happy little picture. Poor old tree. When things happen - enjoy them. They're little gifts. Working it up and down, back and forth. Don't hurry. Take your time and enjoy. See how easy it is to create a little tree right in your world. Let all these little things happen. Don't fight them. Learn to use them. It looks so good, I might as well not stop. You can spend all day playing with mountains. I spend a lot of time walking around in the woods and talking to trees, and squirrels, and little rabbits and stuff.
