Massachusetts Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren gave this speech at the Democratic National Convention on September 5, 2012. She became U.S. senator from Massachusetts in January 2013. Previously, she had been a professor at Harvard Law School and an advocate for the establishment of the U.S. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
