Managing your files

Writing practice: Managing your files

Review the advice for managing files in section 1h. Then think about how you manage your files. Could you develop a more effective, systematic way of managing your own files for your course work? If so, make a plan below.

Click Submit after each question to see feedback and to record your answer. After you have finished every question, your answers will be submitted to your instructor’s gradebook. You may review your answers by returning to the exercise at any time. (An exercise reports to the gradebook only if your instructor has assigned it.) Then spend time creating folders and subfolders and naming (or renaming) files accordingly.
