Gender Free Toronto parents Kathy Witterick and David Stocker decided to raise their third child gender free. When baby Storm was born, Witterick and Stocker informed family and friends that the sex of the child would remain a secret for some time; they wanted Storm to make his or her own decision about gender identity (Poisson, 2011, December 26).
