Easy, Baby Most babies can be classified according to one of three fundamental temperaments: about 40% are “easy,” meaning they are generally content and follow predictable schedules; approximately 10% are “difficult,” or hard to please and irregular in their schedules; and another 15% are “slow to warm up,” meaning they struggle with change but eventually adjust. The remaining 35% do not fall into any one category.
