For the remaining trials, you will complete each response in a virtual group setting. Each member
will be able to see the other members’ names and responses.
Imagine that you are taking part in a psychology study and are sitting at a table with 3 other students. You all have been given a list of 30
individuals (15 female, 15 male) along with their occupations. Your task is to select 12 of these 30 individuals that you believe would be
best suited to survive on a deserted island. Everyone is to take turns stating their selections in a clockwise fashion over several turns.
During the first turn, the first student makes a comment about selecting a male athlete/trainer. The next student, a male that is sitting to
your right, makes the following comment about the first student's selection: "Yeah, we definitely need to keep the women in shape."
During the second turn, the same male student as before makes the following comment: "Let me see, maybe a chef? No, one of the women can
cook."
And during the third turn, the same male student selects a female musician and says, "I think we need more women on the island to keep the men
satisfied."
