Write one or two paragraphs analyzing how the authors address these objections and alternative views:

  1. Skim the excerpt, noting places where Twenge and Campbell acknowledge objections or alternative judgments.
  2. For each objection or concern, consider whether the authors ultimately concede the point, adjust their argument, or refute the objection or concern. Make notes about your findings.
  3. Consider whether you find their responses convincing and complete. How would you respond? Are there other objections that Twenge and Campbell fail to address?
