They think that the pageants give these children confidence and help in making friends, but please, this is not the Girl Scouts. This is parading young children around on national television as if they're bulls and cows at a farmers market. The reason why this is wrong is because it is telling young children, again, I will restate it, that they're not beautiful, that they have to be an ideological version of perfect.
