After you’ve outlined the body, introduction, and conclusion, you will want to create transitions to connect the parts of your speech. A transition is a sentence that indicates you are moving from one idea to another. Transitions are especially helpful in the following places:
Between the introduction and your first main point
Between each main point
Between the final main point and the conclusion
