Think of a social movement that you find interesting, whether or not you believe with the political or social changes it advocates. Research speeches related to the movement and make a list of the speakers and the context for their speeches. Then answer the following questions:
1. Do the speeches stress the movement or the speaker? How do you know?
2. Did the movement result in social change? If so, in what ways? If not, how can you account for the failure to catalyze change?
