Read “Defining a Doctor, with a Tear, a Shrug, and a Schedule” and answer the following question.

1. In small groups of two or three, brainstorm a list of characteristics to describe the male intern and the female intern. Use this list to help your group create a vanity plate (customized license plate) for either the male or the female intern. Design your vanity plate with a word or words and a graphic that describe your intern. Be prepared to share your creation and explain its meaning to the class.
