CASE 20: Choosing a Medium for Presenting Instructions

You work for the U.S. Department of Energy, which maintains an informational website called ENERGY STAR. One feature of the site is a series of videos on energy conservation produced for the general public. Your supervisor, concerned that few people are viewing most of the videos, has asked you to investigate the problem. Your assignment is to sample one of the videos and then do two tasks: (1) develop a revised script that addresses any problems you see in the original video and (2) write an outline for a print document that will deliver the same information.
