Background

You are a student intern working for the Seattle Chamber of Commerce. To publicize the business environment in Seattle, the chamber is assembling a directory of leading high-technology manufacturers in the Seattle area. One of the major corporations to be featured in this directory is Boeing.

You have been asked to write a brief description—no more than three or four double-spaced pages—of one of Boeing's military jets: the F-22 Raptor. When you phone the public-affairs office at Boeing, you are told that all the information you will need about the F-22 is on their website (www.boeing.com) and that you are free to refer to the text and graphics when doing your project, as long as you cite Boeing when quoting any text or reproducing any graphics.
