Chapter 6, Additional Exercise 1: Accessing and Using Online Databases
Many college and university libraries offer Internet access to research databases. From your library's main web page, determine whether you can access any databases. Find a database that pertains to your major or a general database such as Books in Print. Using the database's instructions, learn how to do a basic keyword search, select several records, and print them or save them to your computer. Be prepared to show the class the process you used.
