1. The video mentions several invention strategies that people use to get started on a writing project: clustering, listing, outlining, and using a T-journal. What type of invention strategies have you tried? Describe a writing assignment you faced and tell which strategies you used to get started and generate ideas. The strategies you describe can be either the ones discussed in the video or others you have tried. Describe which of these invention strategies worked best for you and why.

Some of these writing assignments may have been easier for you to complete than others, for a number of reasons.Give advice to a student on how to get started with a difficult writing assignment. Describe a writing assignment or paper topic that you struggled to begin. Describe why you found this assignment hard to do, and how you eventually got started with it. Give advice to another student facing this same assignment.
