| RBI is an
international organization that concentrates solely on getting boys and girls
off the streets in places such as New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago, and
into doing something positive, such as playing a sport. By a show of hands, how
many of you knew of this nonprofit organization before I just mentioned it? One
of you. That's why I'm doing a speech on it. Well, today I'm going to concentrate
on the three main points of: when and where RBI was created and how far it's
come since the very first day; its main goals and purposes; as well as how you
could get involved with RBI. As a baseball player and someone who had the
privilege of playing against a team from this organization two years ago, at a
tournament called Tournament of Stars, I feel qualified to talk on this
subject. |
