MAN: In Walter Fisher's theory of Narrative Paradigm, he says that when we do something wrong, we have two ways to go about the problem and push the blame aside. Either we, a, self-mortify and blame ourselves and thus look for a way to better it or b, and unfortunately the most likely scenario, scapegoat and point the finger at other people.
So too have recently Democrats been pointing fingers about ethics and lobbying to the Republicans and the GOP. However, unfortunately, without pointing a finger at themselves, it's hard to really see that they're going to make progress on this issue.
