JORDAN HARDY: To some extent, for some people, they don't really want you to question what they're telling you, and that can especially be true in certain classrooms, is where you're just supposed to accept the point of view that the teacher is putting towards you.
LOUIS GONZALEZ: There is a difference between critical thinking and just learning something. There's a difference between someone telling you it, and then in your mind you actually think about it and decide if it's true or not.
JORDAN HARDY: If something was said that didn't make sense to me, I would challenge it.
GIRL: Because critical thinking is like basically the analysis of argument, so like, and everything's based off premises and their conclusions and its effect on people. And I, like, realized that I could find it, like, through my everyday life. Now that it's just kind of, like, stuck in my head, it kind of, like, pops out.
LOUIS GONZALEZ: Someone could tell you something, and it's up to you to like critically think about it, to decide if you agree with it, if you don't, you know, just like kind of decide for yourself.
