STUDENT 1: My major is architectural engineering. That's what I want to go into. For the summer, I'm doing an internship at an architecture firm.

I originally didn't want to do architectural engineering. I wanted to be a lawyer. And my mom was always like really supportive of me or whatever with that dream because I'm a good arguer or whatever.

But when I told her, you know, I don't really want to do lawyer. I don't want to be a lawyer or anything. I want to do architectural engineering. She was like, good. I was, like, hoping you would say that because you're really creative.

And I don't think that lawyers, being a lawyer would have given you that outlet. So I settled on architectural engineering because it takes the art-- which I love art, I'm really creative-- and the science, which I also like. And it puts them together. So I think that's a really good career choice for me.

STUDENT 2: I grew up in a family which is full of Air Force members back in my country. So most people thought I was going to be into the military field. But I actually like business administration.

Since I was little, since I was seven or eight years old, I like business. I like companies and the business world. And the reason why I like this because I do find it interesting managing companies, getting to have your own business.

And right now, my plan is to take all the classes that I can take here at Sinclair. I'm planning to take accounting. I'm planning to take math organizational behavior, for example. I see myself within five or 10 years, I will like in a company, I would like to start by managing somebody else's company and then start my own business.

STUDENT 3: My major is exercise sciences. I want to end up going into physical therapy. But you need to take a major that you can get all the different credits you need before you can go to the PT school.

So basically, I think the person, the people that encouraged me to be in physical therapy would be my grandmother and my mom. A couple years ago, my grandma died. But before that, she lived at our house for like a year or something. So I had, it was actually really fun taking care of my grandma and making sure she's OK and everything.

And I really started to like that. And I recognized I like taking care of people. So I figured that Physical Therapy would be a good major for me.

STUDENT 4: My major is criminal justice. And one of the big reasons why I'm in is for my daughter, you know, so I can have a future for myself and for her. I was pretty much a troubled youth, got in a lot of trouble, imagine that. So I think that's the reason why I want to work in law.

My big goal, I would love to see myself in law school. But for right now, I may go in the police academy. But I do want to work with juveniles. And I want to become a juvenile probation officer.

STUDENT 5: I'm actually undecided. But I'm kind of like caught between culinary arts and then criminal justice because I want to be a criminal profiler. So kind of like I'm interested in both, but I haven't decided which one I want to do.
